So tryna add things ppl text to the end of each list in firebase and itlll show in the chat. was going good till here. I keep getting this everytime I try text in the app. My code added as well. Very new to thisand sorry if this is simple and obvious

Set global message list to make a list + join block messages/+ global messages

Yes, I initialized it to an empty list because i kept getting a yellow warning when I tried initialize it as nothing. Although now I’m just initializing it to an empty string.
I still got the same error however? unless i did it incorrectly and should initialize it to smth. I added the extra because of howmy firebase is structured. do i not want to make a new list inside the folder for messages? or each message? thats my firebase for refrence
