Cannot display the video

Hi dear,

We recently discussed this issue, the solution was to use an extension, but we still need to investigate further to understand exactly what the error might be.

Error 701 "unable to load 'example.mp4'" im confused

i want to make just a simple app that when it opens it plays a single video and when it ends, the app closes. But i keep getting this error!!! I ve searched for all of the forums about that error but i could not find a straight answer. I dont have spaces between letters nor weird characters in the video file title, i uploaded it in the kodular’s asset manager, it seemed fine, but its unable to open!!! From this table, it’s necessary to have READ permissions.

1. The VideoPlayer component doesn’t work at all, regardless of the path. This is another serious bug in addition to the one that has existed for years.

2. Furthermore, the VideoPlayer component uses an absolute or full path, not a relative path.
