Changes to Kodular Premium subscriptions

Dear Koders,

This post follows our previous announcement on Updates to Our Legal Entity.

We are pleased to inform you that, effective immediately, all Kodular Premium subscriptions will be managed by our legal entity in Ireland, Junnovate Limited, aligning with the changes we recently made for Google Ad Manager payouts (read more here).

From a user experience standpoint, nothing will change: you will continue enjoying full access to Kodular Premium. However, billing will now be handled through Junnovate Limited, and subscription payments will be processed in EUR instead of USD.

:star2: Additionally, we are offering exclusive discounts until the end of August 2025 to support a smooth transition.

Impact to Existing Subscriptions

As part of this transition, we are unable to migrate existing subscriptions and payment methods directly. As a result, all current subscriptions will automatically cancel at the end of their billing cycle.

To maintain uninterrupted service, you will need to re-subscribe under the new billing system.

How to Renew Your Subscription

To continue using Kodular Premium without interruption:

  1. Visit my.kodular.io/premium.
  2. Click “Subscribe” under your desired plan.
  3. Enter your payment details. Your remaining subscription time will be applied as a trial period, plus additional complimentary days.
  4. Confirm the subscription to complete your transition.

Will I Be Charged Twice?

No. When re-subscribing, your remaining days from the previous subscription will be applied as a free trial period, and you’ll also receive bonus days as a goodwill gesture for being a valued user.

Available Discounts

  • Existing users (or those who held an active Premium subscription at any time in 2025) will receive a 15% discount for at least 6 months if they re-subscribe by August 31, 2025.
  • New subscribers will receive a 10% discount for at least 3 months if they subscribe by July 31, 2025.

Discounts are applied automatically at checkout. The discounts will apply for the specified minimum duration (i.e., if subscribing on a yearly plan, it will apply for the whole year, indistinctly of the number of months).

Supported Payment Methods

We now support a wide range of payment options for greater flexibility:

  • Major credit and debit cards
  • Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Amazon Pay
  • :sparkles: PayPal
  • Select local payment methods (e.g., Revolut Pay, iDEAL) based on your region

Updated Pricing Plans

Plan Price (EUR)
Monthly €3.99 / month
Quarterly :sparkles: €10.99 / 3 months
Biyearly :sparkles: €20.99 / 6 months
Yearly €40.99 / year

Are Prices Increasing?

Yes, there will be a modest price adjustment. Kodular Premium pricing has remained unchanged since its launch three years ago. Recent infrastructure upgrades, such as those detailed in this announcement, necessitate this update to sustain and enhance the quality of our services.

However, we are committed to supporting our community, which is why we’re introducing limited-time discounts to ease this transition for existing and new users alike.

I have a question about paid subscriptions. When the paid subscriptions were first implemented, some free codes were given to developers and people who contributed to the community. Why was this stopped?

Hi,

Those developers can still avail for those discounts or free subscriptions. Please, contact support@kodular.io in order to get a new one issued.

There is no need to hike subscription prices, we are already suffering from so many issues which are mostly related to inbuilt kodular components.

@Diego This price hike is not justifiable. For just copy pasting(as it seems) of MIT version releases since oct 2022, there has not been much effort put into the platform not for users and developer community. With each release just admanager library upgraded or some unknown bugs are fixed, but real bugs are still there. No new modern component releases. And for developer community no IDE that can support modern features like gradle and aar support. And to add fuel to fire is your new D8 tool errors resulting in many extensions that donot work on platform.

And companion issues too, I’m tired of switching browsers, networks, and companion versions.
