Copy and Paste, duplicate components

Hi

I’m sorry for asking this again, i already searched and i couldn’t find a straight answer anywhere.

Is it possible yes or no?

Duplicating a component instead of setting it all over again, and i’m not talking about the blocks, just the component itself without the blocks.

This kind of feature would be very helpful, pratical and time saving.

If yes… how?

You can do it manually as follows:

1. Download your aia file
2. Extract screen .scm file
3. Open in notepad
4. Copy code and paste in new line
5. Import screen back to aia
6. Import aia

Done.

That is not necessary anymore. Just Copy and paste is enough.

If you right-click on a component, you will see a context menu with cut, copy, paste, duplicate options

It is useful in case, where all screen work is done containing many components in an arrangement and want to copy whole arrangement again.
