Renewed Clarification on Data Collected by Kodular and Policy Compliance Tips

As we prepare to step foot into 2026, I think it would be a good idea to take another look at the data collected by Kodular, what gets baked in to the exported apps, and overall policy compliance.

We all know GDPR, COPPA, etc. are increasingly strict (and for good reason), which makes it all the more important to know exactly what goes on behind the scenes. Then there are these:

There is an old thread dealing with this issue, but I believe it’s worth revisiting it (especially since laws and policies change, and Kodular evolves over time as well):

Something further to be considered is this:

With App Center slated to be retired, when will Kodular be removing the App Center integration, and will there be some replacement in place?

Lastly, is it still true that absolutely no sensitive or PII is collected by apps exported from Kodular by default, and that our apps are compliant with Families Policies and everything related, from the get-go?

P.S. Would love to hear what other people’s approach is to policy compliance and privacy policy / terms of use nowadays. My old privacy policy pages were “created at privacypolicytemplate.net and modified/generated by App Privacy Policy Generator” but it’s been a while since I myself have updated them and they are starting to get long in the tooth.

For the removal, it will happen after the full deprecation (or close to it).
For the replacement, very likely there won’t be any. At least we don’t have any immediate plans to integrate any other 3rd party provider, mainly because all alternatives are paid ones.

This is correct. The only data being sent at apps runtime are App Center analytics, and the Kodular Monetize ads data (which does not include any personal information stored on the device, besides the network IP address, which complies with the Play Families policy).
