Why the side bar doesn't respond until you manually slide it first

See i dont know why but when i was testing my app i make a side bar and add a button to open the sidebar and close it so when i opened the application the button was clickable but the side bar not appear as it was not there and when i tried to slide the side bar it came out and after that the button was working fine but later by every start same problem came.
My new users are not satisfied because they cannot access the side bar easily it is hard for them and some are now also inactive.

Don’t hide the layout for sidebar when you create the app
