Sidebar menu with error on startup

besides sliding i also put a button to open the sidebar menu when it is clicked

but when the app launches the button it doesn’t make the sidebar menu work

Only when I slide the sidebar menu as usual of its function does the button start working normally

if someone could explain to me why this happens, if it’s a bug or my mistake; -; someone help me
