Let me get this straight in an easier way Chrome custom tabs is “like” activity starter but a lot more easier. Lets GO !

How to open an app ?

Hey to get the package name of any app install this app -

Open play.google.com
Open the app page and look at the URL. The package name forms the end part of the URL i.e. after the id=? . Copy it and use it.

In my case “com.kanishka_developer.SketchPad”

Open Custom Tab -

As far as I know chrome custom tabs doesn’t ask for which browser do you have to open the site it automatically opens the site in your default browser so… that is a con of Custom Tabs

Make sure your url has http or https .

Open any website –

Again make sure your url has http or https .
