Discussion about Rules Enforcement

If they force to use English then go with them. We don’t have problems with English.

Wait! I still have a question. If translator is installed, users should be allowed to post in any language (though it don’t work properly).

But when the quota exhausted, Kodular perhaps not wanted users to post in other languages, with no notice. :thinking: How should I know that it’s no more allowed to post in other languages?

It’s clear enough: this is an International community, with users that just know a few languages. There most global language is English, so that’s why we have been saying since we started this in 2017 that posts have to be in English.
When the translator was there, it was fine, because there was a way for users to get an English translation without leaving the community. But now that there’s no translator, there’s no way to get the English translation without leaving the community.

I understand. But not all community members are fluent in English. Members who try to help new users knows it better. We have seen many threads in English with no meaning. So if you’re reversing your decisions, you must notify users before you change in methods.

They can use Google Translator too if they aren’t fluent at English:sweat_smile:

And as I said several times, I know. That’s why I said that the Rules Enforcement says that everything must be in English from now on, and that accounts that were banned (without spamming or threaten or harassment) will be considered to lift the temporal ban.

AHH, ok :joy::sweat_smile:

There should be a definition/guideline of harassment.

I may feel harassed with some words which may be ‘Okay’ with the speaker.

What if a user feel harassed by any of the moderators.

My questions may be taken as polite queries.

I guess we all were polite enough throughout this discussion. :relaxed: Feel free.

Well, for example, I got yesterday some emails saying “you will cry if…”. Of course I just ignore it, but it’s a clear threaten.
Another example would be a coordinated group of users sending the same message in private, with the aim of harassing someone. There are always alternatives to this…

I think that :kodular: staff and moderators are so friendly and polite with the community. I don’t know how a user can feel harassed by them…

This post was flagged by the community and is temporarily hidden.

Ummm…practically is it the case?
If it was, the things should not have warmed up…right?

We cant teach some persons to be polite…likewise…an user should also know to behave…

Honestly, I believe…it’s a both side long term interaction.

Can someone answer my question? :sweat_smile:

Will we get Independence Day topic back? I am not asking about opening it, instead at least list the topic.
@Diego ?? @Peter ??

Everything was happened due to they came in force to do like that, because the question was about someone’s nation.

You can understand.

This will not happen again. If happened then you have full rights! Whatever you want to do, you can.

If everyone start to create a topic about their national day, the community will be only that topics. For example, if we could do it, the Spanish people could create a topic about a festivity that occurred 15th August…
The community is internacional, so we can’t create nacional topics
