[F/OS] Image Loader - Extension for image loading and caching

Can we load images from airtable in horizontal scroll arrangement ?

Yes anywhere in any image component.

Nice:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
Can you add ‘get cached image by url’ block?

Update Version 6

Fixed ClearDiskCache bug.

@catselidis now it won’t show any error when trying to ClearDiskCache when there’s no cache.

You are really really lit :fire: thanks for making this awesome extension . Best image loader extension :fire:

please add gif image

It’s impossible because Universal image loader library doesn’t support gif.

ExtractCachedImage method it should work also for this.

Just create a list

item1: component
item2: url

to get the url of a component, with the help of a for each

@DevYB

Great extension…this extension helped me a lot…

But What if an user want to load .gif file?

Actually in Pedroza Glide extension we were also able to load gif file. But I found it crashing sometime in New AppInventor2.

@plantdoc2018
There’s a similar Extension available for loading gif.

Yup seen that…thats a pretty good extension too…but my queries are different.

I said an user can set a gif image also as loading image. Getting my point?

I think you meant to set an image temporarily when the image is loading from the link(a kind of placeholder but with gif)…:thinking: ?
The developer will have to add that function to the extension to let it happen

Correctly understood. User should have option too choose static or gif image as placeholder.
