How to prevent multiple tag or values with same names adding in firebase

I want to prevent same tags or values adding firebase how to prevent this
Please give any solutions

before saving into fb db, first try to get tag value of user name, if you get value then imagine user name is exists else try to save the tag

I want this for my login system there is any method to got value from firebase then show this username is not available not get value visible a store button

this block will do that if the user id (tag) is not exits it will allow details to be saved in the rtdb else throw an alert that userd id is exists and cannot complete registration
