I have api data (1900 item) , How to get 50 item only , when I scroling up I get another 50 item + the old items

I have data from Api . a 1900 item
I need to get only 50 evry time , not the all of the data .
for example when I scroling up the listView geting another 50 items . . .

Can we do it ?
