If change the language of the ocr to Chinese.
Open the app will stop working.

I’ve faced this problem before as well.I’ve tried with some non-latin languages and they all crashed the app.That happened with me from almost half a year.I didn’t try again after.Maybe i was doing some thing wrong?Can you try setting the language to english and tell us if it works?
English working.
But other language not working.

And in the designer properties how have you set it?
Default
When screen initialize set other language will get that error.

i tested it with english and arabic text and it is working, put pay attention this extension is not working in Companion.
