The Sharing component cannot share files from the external (removable) SD card, but the TaifunSharing extension can.

This path is working on all Android versions: /storage/emulated/0/ /mnt/sdcard (Android < 4.0) /storage/sdcard0 (Android 4.0+) The “/storage/emulated/0/” folder does not really exist. It’s what might be called a “symbolic link”, or, in simpler terms, a reference to where the real data is stored.

I have not yet found a device and Android version under which this path did not work.
And I’ve tested it on hundreds of devices and almost all Android versions.

  If that’s true, I’d bet it works with (one of) the above paths too.
