Wait, Following Feature?

(Yusuf Cihan) #1

I don’t know if this “Following” feature was added before but it is nice to see in Discourse. :star_struck:

(Franck G) #2

Yes, i’ve clicked on your profile, and i’ve seen this button

(Diego Barreiro Pérez) #3

I have recently installed this plugin, which added this feature:

By the way, Can you update KodularNotificationsBot’s translations? :slightly_smiling_face:Because there is untranslated string added after Follow plugin:

translation missing: en.discourse_telegram_notifications.message.following_replied

(Pablo A. Rod.) #5

That is nice. I would like there was a button to follow a thread too.

(😍) #6

We already have a button for that.

(Yusuf Cihan) #7

This feature already exists. You can use buttons under topic, “Watching”, “Tracking”, “Normal” and “Muted”.

(Pablo A. Rod.) #8

Man, I guess I am each day more stupid. I never saw it before. And I have looked for it carefully :joy::sweat_smile:

(Nathan) #9

Defer is to list a topic as read, I guess :joy:… There seems to be a new things:

Located at the bottom of https://community.kodular.io/u/yourUsername/preferences/account

(Yusuf Cihan) #10

Yes I saw that after this Follow plugin

(😍) #11

Why there is an edit option and how?

(Yusuf Cihan) #12

@MeteorCoder made his reply as Wiki, so everyone can edit. (If he is wrong. etc.) This can be useful if you writing a reply which you are not sure to someone. (for example: giving a info which related Kodular.)

(😍) #13

wow, that’s cool.
So how can I create a “wiki post/topic” ? (if I can)

(Yusuf Cihan) #14

Just make a topic/post then press 3-dot menu then select “Make Wiki”

(😍) #15

No option:no_mouth:
It is not for everyone? I guess…

(Yusuf Cihan) #16

Oh, then I think only ProKoders can make wiki(s).

(Yusuf Cihan) #17

Looks like we discovering Discourse features here :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :joy:

(Nathan) #18

I added it to add the new features which we may find .

For me I’m a ProKoder. ProKoders have a wrench to make their Topic/Replies into Wikis so others can edit them to add more or fix errors.

Screenshot%20(230) Here’s my wrench
Screenshot%20(231) When I press the wrench, this is what I see on a non-wiki topic/reply that was created by me
Screenshot%20(232) This is what I see on wiki topic/reply created by me

(😍) #19

That’s amazing!!
But I think “Create as Wiki” should be available to everyone… AND only special members/users (Like ProKoders or above) can only edit it…
Instead of Only Special users can create it and anyone can edit it…

(Yusuf Cihan) #20

No it is not for special users, I think only ProKoders can do it. Everyone can edit Wiki, but only ProKoders can create it.
