DeepHost Swipe_CardView_Pro - not showing MaterialIcons font?

I’ve trying to duplicate the result from the training video for this component. The video is at YouTube

When I get to the point of adding the buttons, I do not see them with the MaterialIcons-Regular.ttf font. I did download the ttf and upload it as an asset.

Any insights?
