I Obayed DRY But this Happened

I create 6 screen and in each screen there have 4k block in average. without connecting to companion it work smoothly on Firefox, even no glitching. but when i connect it with companion it takes a very long time to build my app also after a moment the web will be crashed!

any reason other than DRY please??, yeah may be DRY also an issue i can’t check because of huge block!

This is what Gemini suggested to me. any other please??

Common Causes and Solutions

  • App Complexity: A common cause is an app with too many screens or a large number of blocks. Kodular has a limit of around 95 screens. If you have a complex app, try to simplify it by using arrangements instead of multiple screens.
  • Problematic Components: Some components or extensions can cause crashes during live testing. The community has reported issues with components like SideMenuLayout or large assets. Try removing components one by one to isolate the issue. If the crash is tied to a specific component, check the Kodular community forums for known bugs or workarounds.
  • Network and Server Issues: The connection between your computer and the Kodular Companion app relies on a stable network. Ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network and that the connection isn’t saturated. Sometimes the Kodular server itself may be experiencing issues.
  • Outdated Companion App or Browser: Ensure you’re using the latest version of the Kodular Companion app. In some cases, using a different web browser, like Firefox instead of Chrome, has resolved connection issues.

:face_blowing_a_kiss::face_blowing_a_kiss: 6*4000=24k don’t go further its actually the blocks, so see different try adding new screen the connect

Tell me about your device properties

The 6 screens all have more or less 4000 blocks because they repeat or are they all different?

However without having to change phone or computer, I believe that the only solution is to optimize the blocks.

Its because of i put a lot of features on single screen.

:sob: :sob: :sob: …God!

May i do that!

Nope!! The blocks are huge, if you are using Pc try upgrade Ram or processor but this won’t work as solution, just make it the Pc run smoothly in other ways

?? you mean check your block again??

Nope, I didn’t mean like that,

Can I know the properties of your device? Eg RAM etc,

sure!

You okay!!! Thought you running in 4-GB RAM

The blocks are huge. If you are using chrome, try Firefox, Brave at least they works different my side

Also don’t put too much browser extension to make the browser have enough weight

No it’s 8-GB where did it say 4??

Oh sorry my bad!

I planned to add some screen and to move some feature there

Since the specifications are good, I ask you another question:
You’ve seen how it works in APK?
Kodular, Appinventor, and similars aren’t meant for such big projects (app Inventor was born as a program to learn the basics in schools, not develop entire applications).
In APK should be better,
Try to work on screen one at a time (project) and then join them all together.

God! it work nice after exporting as APK even on low tecno phone, still the block is 4300, but it work nice:tada::tada: i will not add any more block. so guys what is your recommendation for the rest of my feature.

:partying_face::partying_face::partying_face:

  • Optimize blocks .
  • Work on one screen at time.

Happy :kodular:oding !!
