Due to a last time error we found this bug and reverted this feature :disappointed:

UI Update

  • Designer now provides draggable text-entry for entering text in the following Components:

    • Qr Code
    • ListView (elements from string)
    • TextBox
    • Checkbox
    • Label
    • RadioButton
    • Switch

  • Redesigned Components Palette: Now there is a table with all components instead of a list

  • Added Scrollbars to different boxes to enhance user experience

Companion Changes

  • Compressed Images Size (which probably was causing the “Companion stopped working” error)

  • Added MultiLanguage Support (detected automatically from Device’s language)

From now on, each update will be followed from a special version name (in this case “Christmas Update”) to make it easier to identify :wink:

Also, and again, we have been working very hard to bring this update on time
So, please, a small tip is always welcome :smile:

We wanted to include two important features that could change a lot the way of building apps, but we hadn’t time to fix the huge amount of :bug: that appeared, so maybe on a future release they will come as a surprise :roll_eyes:
But, well, in this update there is already implemented the custom PackageName feature :sweat_smile:

So, hey, just say.. :wave:

We also wanted to say that we are working on 2 (well, now there are 3; @ProKoders know only two of them :wink:) parallel projects that will revolutionate the AppInventor world (and maybe not only that :thinking:)
