You can’t share each of your problem or colaborate with anyone you want who is on your social media friend list. To colaborate you will definitely find someone who is familiar with coding.

I haven’t read complete statement yet but I got to know that Kodular is removing #off-topic category.
I read previous posts and some says that the category was waste and it has no importance.
But inner all everyone knows that how important it was.
Like we have a #discuss category to discuss about various questions and doubts that arise during app development,there is need for #off-topic category also for sharing knowledge (it feels that it does not but it really does) , increasing social activeness (which is needed to run a community successfully) and to make users friendly (most important factor which we look at before choosing a particular service.If community is friendly they why will not anyone like to use it?)
I admit these things were missing in few recent topics
But it does not mean that all topics were nonsense. Were they?
#off-topic was in existence before I came here.And I missed those topics as I was late.
Instead of removing it you always have other options available like only ProKoders can create and reply or TL3 users can create and reply, similar to #community category.
I don’t think the user who has achieved TL3 will behave like an amateur(Exceptions do exist).

They have more experience than other users.So they are best for it.

I dont think that removing the #off-topic category is a bad idea. Rather I agree on this enforcement.

Because the koders were creating topics on their Independence Day, memes, and sometimes even nonsense.

I am not saying that celebrating national days and having fun together and sharing memes is a bad idea, but it just doesn’t looks good on the Community of such a great platform. Since, Kodular is growing day by day, so we shall adapt to the new changes rather than complaining.

Some of them (off topic) are useful but some of them are not.

moderators should delete it(off topic) if they went wrong.

But creating off topics for memes, celebration ?

I have also been a part of many great off-topic discussion in Community. It not feels good that the entire category in has been removed.

But, by seeing the current situation, I can understand that the decision taken by staff was somewhere necessary to maintain the rules and main motto of our community.

I always respect the decision taken by them and the hard work of moderator/staff to keep the community and creator working with its full strength as now a day we see more users comming/switching to kodular due to the good/best service in all AI Distros.

Also include promotion of Kodular on YouThube.

I will have to do a little research to find which Country’s Independence was celebrated here first.

But as @vknow360 said it should be allowed to TL3 (Trust Level 3) members
So that there will be only off topics which really matters

Yep, Agree because there were some useful off topic and that we also related to kodular.
For eg. A off topic by @vknow360 about his screen recorder Extension. Useful for who announces their Extension/work/guide to get a response and suggestions.

India does not have lack of knowledge and creativity but what we lack is called support of family and friends.
We are able to face outsiders but are completely helpless in front of questions which are asked by family members(specially relatives).
Even I have not told my parents that I am an extension developer but yes they know that I want to be a Software Engineer(and they do whatever they can to help me in this field).

In short, if we had support of family and money then there can be another Kodular in India.
