Opening file from directory

Hi,

I want to open a file (.apk) from given directory/location.
like : /storage/emulated/0/Download/example.apk

Is there any extension or component for this?

by opening you mean install it if it isn’t already installed?

Yes but;

White toast message with:
Error 601: No corresponding activity was found
also I tried Taifun’s method but don’t working.

I am using Android 8.0

also I added “.google” (com.google.android.package…) but it gives:
Permission Denial: starting Intent { act=android.intent.action.MAIN dat=/storage/emulated/0/Download/example.apk cmp=com.google.android.packageinstaller/com.android.packageinstaller.PackageInstallerActivity } from ProcessRecord{5cda830 10061:io.makeroid.companion/u0a112} (pid=10061, uid=10112) not exported from uid 10018

How To Upload APK? - #4 by hammerhai - Discuss - Kodular Community This may and may not work for you, the first time it will like gray out the APKs then we fixed it but, I dont remember how.

Yes, it opens “File Chooser” but I can’t select any files, but thank you for taking the time to help.

hey i too see the same but i can select apk files,other files such as png are blurred try to select apk files
