How to request and grant MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission

[Android ≤ 10] How do I read from a file in Internal Storage instead of SD Card with file component?

It should read: Android ≤ 10, because Kodular has decided to continue to declare android: requestLegacyExternalStorage = "true" in the Manifest (therefore it still works under Android 10). See also here:

You can no longer save in the root dir of the external storage on Android 11+. Save in one of the Shared folders or in the ASD: [grafik] or in the shared folder /Download: [grafik]

Is WRITE permission needed to edit a file in the ASD?

@AppHelper_Studio You cannot pick any non-media files from the external storage (even not from one of the Shared folders, like /Download or /Documents, at least not on Android 11+).
